Long is building something ambitious: a fair, transparent way to launch tokens that’s actually aligned with long-term builders. No early insiders. No bots racing to extract value. Just projects with clear intent and strong vision.

At Edge City, we convene people building the future in technology, science, governance, coordination, and beyond. Many of the most promising experiments we see are hard to fund through traditional channels. Grants are slow. Venture capital often requires a company when what’s needed is a movement, a tool, or a new kind of public good. Long offers a new path.

This approach reclaims tokens as a meaningful tool for coordination. A well-designed token can work like an internet-native cap table: a way to align incentives, invite participation, and support shared ownership in projects that matter. That’s the vision behind Long.

We believe funding shapes the future. The way resources move determines what grows. Long offers a structure that rewards patience, trust, and real work; qualities we care about deeply at Edge City.

Over the coming months, we’ll work with our community to pick a handful of standout projects to launch through Long. If it works, this could be the start of a new model for how edge ideas reach the world, with durable backing and aligned communities.
