Edge City India is a three-week popup village for the people building the frontier of technology, science, and culture.
From October 11 to November 1, founders, researchers, engineers, scientists, and creators gather on the coast of Goa to do the best work of their year together: deep coworking by day, talks and demo days through the week, and a community of peers operating at the highest level.

On what it feels like to be part of Edge City.
Edge City is a society incubator. We bring together builders, researchers, artists, and founders working at the frontier of technology, science, and culture to live and create together in popup villages. Since 2023 we've hosted nine villages around the world, from Edge Esmeralda in California to Edge City Lanna in Thailand and Edge City Patagonia in Argentina, convening more than 12,000 people. Each village is a place to prototype new ways of living, working, and flourishing together.
Edge City India is a three-week popup village on the beaches of Mandrem, North Goa, running October 11 to November 1, 2026. We'll gather hundreds of builders, researchers, and creatives to live, work, and build together: beachside coworking, daily programming and salons, 8 to 10 focused residencies, and a rhythm of movement, good food, and community. It's our first village in India, and the next chapter in Edge City's journey around the world.
Goa is one of the most beautiful and welcoming places in India: warm, walkable, and built for both deep work and real connection. We're basing the village on Mandrem Beach in the quieter stretch of North Goa, with The Circle, a beach-facing coworking hub, at the center. October into November is the start of Goa's dry season, right after the monsoon: lush green landscapes, warm ocean, and clear days.
There's a deeper reason for India, too. It's home to one of the world's largest and fastest-growing builder communities, and to living traditions (Ayurveda, yoga, and the study of consciousness) that few other places can offer. The timing is deliberate: Edge City India lands in the heart of the autumn builder season, flowing on from the Network State Conference and into Devcon Mumbai.
Edge City India is for people building at the edges: technologists, founders, researchers, scientists, artists, writers, and community builders who want a few weeks of focused work alongside an inspiring, multidisciplinary group. Whether you're shipping a project, exploring a new direction, or looking to connect with peers from around the world, you'll find your people here. It's open to all ages, and we welcome families.
Apply early, since prices step up over time and the village fills as the dates approach.
We will publish full details soon. For now you can apply and we’ll reach out when tickets go live.
Accommodation and most meals are not included, so you arrange your own stay and cover day-to-day food. We help with discounted partner-hotel rates, a housing coordination sheet, and community meals for special occasions.
Goa has an incredible food scene, from beach shacks to world-class restaurants, all walkable or a short ride away. At the village, The Circle's terrace and restaurant will be a daily gathering spot, and we'll host community dinners for special occasions. Residency groups often cook and eat together too.
Most international visitors need a visa to enter India. Many travelers are eligible for the India e-Tourist Visa, which you apply for online before you travel. Check your eligibility and apply early, as processing can take time.
October and November are a beautiful time in Goa: the monsoon has passed and the dry season is beginning. Expect warm, tropical weather: sunny days, lush green surroundings, and warm ocean water. Pack light, breathable clothing, swimwear, and sun protection.
Yes. Many people attend solo or in small groups. You're welcome to join one of the residencies once you arrive, or simply plug into the wider village, where coworking, programming, and community life are open to everyone.
Residencies are self-organized communities of around 5 to 50 people built around a shared theme. If you'd like to start one, mention it in your application or reach out to the team.
Edge City is multigenerational and family-friendly, so partners, children, and grandparents are all welcome.
Tickets are non-refundable, but you can change your dates or transfer your ticket to someone else.
Our villages are shaped by four principles:
Hands-on experimentation toward new technologies, cultures, ideas, and organizations.
Daily movement, wholesome local food, and good habits, so you leave in better shape than you arrived.
A full span of ages and life stages, from kids to elders, in one community.
Breakthroughs happen where disciplines meet, so we mix scientists, artists, engineers, founders, and more.
